Neighborhood March is my take on a “traditional march.” I start with the form and components that many people would recognize as characteristic of a march. The harmony and chromaticism are my favorite components of marches and that becomes pretty evident by the time the piece ends. You’ll find bold harmonies and an extended use of chromaticism in every section of this march.
