About this Piece Ashlee Busch
For as long as I can remember I have loved Celtic music. This music’s gentle defiance of the contrapuntalism that so captivates common era practices, even today, has always felt to me like one of the most honest musics that ever existed. The continuously evolving repetition without stagnation is fascinating—like looking at a waterfall. All that ever falls is water, but still one cannot pulls the eyes away for minutes straight. Morning Dances is my attempt to capture the joy of that kind of moment in one of my favorites kinds of music.
